  • Communications: We collect messages you send through the Platform, including communications with promoters and other users.
  • Payment Information: If you make purchases through the Platform, our payment processors collect your payment card details. We do not directly store complete payment card information.
  • Promoter Business Information: If you register as a promoter, we collect business information including venue affiliations, event history, and professional credentials.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: We collect information about your device, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Location Information: With your consent, we collect precise location data to show you nearby events and venues. We also collect approximate location based on IP address. You can disable precise location collection through your device settings, but this may limit certain features.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages viewed, features used, time spent, and actions taken.
  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record log data including IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information and improve the Platform.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Social Media: If you connect your account to social media platforms, we may receive information from those platforms in accordance with their privacy settings and your authorization.
  • Event Photos: Photographers at events may upload photos to the Platform that include your image. These photos may be linked to your profile or tagged with your name.
  • Venue Partners: We may receive information about your attendance or interactions from our venue and promoter partners.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Create and maintain your account
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send you event recommendations and personalized content
  • Enable social features and connections between users
  • Facilitate guest list management and event check-ins via QR codes
  • Provide promoters with aggregated analytics and audience insights
  • Send promotional communications (with your consent where required)

3.1 With Your Consent

We may share your information when you direct us to do so, such as when you RSVP to an event or request to be added to a guest list.

3.2 With Promoters and Venues

When you interact with events, we share relevant information with event organizers and promoters:

  • Guest list requests include your name and contact information
  • Check-in data is shared with the relevant promoter or venue
  • Promoters receive aggregated, anonymized audience analytics to understand attendee demographics and preferences
  • We do not sell your personal information to promoters; they receive only information necessary for event operations and anonymized insights

3.3 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Cloud hosting and data storage providers
  • Payment processors
  • Analytics providers
  • Customer support tools
  • Marketing and communications platforms

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes we specify.

3.4 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

3.5 Business Transfers

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including your phone number and any data collected through SMS or messaging interactions — with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Promoter Data Practices

If you are a promoter using Kiki's tools, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own compliance with privacy laws when using attendee data
  • You must not use attendee information for purposes beyond event management without explicit consent
  • You must honor all opt-out requests and maintain appropriate data security measures
  • Audience analytics are provided for legitimate business purposes only and may not be re-identified or combined with other data sources
  • Violation of these requirements may result in termination of your promoter account

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Account Information

You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time through the app settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, please contact us at privacy@kikisocial.com.

5.2 Location Information

You can enable or disable location services through your device settings. Note that disabling location services may limit certain features of the Platform.

5.3 Communications

You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by adjusting your notification preferences in the app. Even if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

5.4 Push Notifications

You can control push notifications through your device settings.

5.5 Photo Removal

If you appear in photos uploaded to the Platform and wish to have them removed, please contact us at privacy@kikisocial.com with details about the photo(s) you want removed.

5.6 Data Access and Portability

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@kikisocial.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights including:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Request portability of your information

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We may retain certain information after account deletion for legitimate business purposes, including legal compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and research purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
